The watch brand Timex celebrated their 150th anniversary with a competition, Timex 1254: The Future of Time. The idea behind the competition, was that the contestants should design, what they thought would be the watch of the future.

The contribution, that come in on second place, was a rather cool little gadget, a fingernail watch. The watch is designed to blend in beautiful with your thumbnail, making it a nifty accessory, also when it’s deactivated, you can hardly tell it’s there.

The fingernail watch has all the standard features that you would want from a watch and if you are in a dark place, all you need to do is to press down your nail and it lights up.

The fingernail watch was designed by the Americans, Napoleon Merana, Steffen Schuber t, and David Takacs.
